The Tigers closed out the C-USA regular season with impressive victories at UAB on March 3 and over Tulsa on March 6. They improved to 23-8 overall and finished 13-3 in the conference, good for second-place.

The Memphis staff recently extended a scholarship offer to an in-state tight end. On Monday, 6-foot-6, 225-pound Brendan Downs '11 of Bristol High School got an offer letter from the C-USA program.
