Cameron Wright commits to Memphis

The best ever recruiting class for Memphis just keeps on getting better. 3-star wide receiver Cameron Wright has committed to Memphis. Wright's commitment is the 17th for the 2021 recruiting class.

He visited Memphis back in January for the junior day and loved it.

"Loved Memphis!" Wright told TigerSportsReport.

Coach Jones and Coach Simon were the main recruiters for Wright and they built a strong bond.

"He’s a cool guy and he’s been real every since I met him."

What was his favorite part of visiting Memphi back in January?

"Just getting to talk business with Coach Simon and how I could be a big part in the offense and be a starter as a freshman."

Memphis has done well tapping into South Panola.

Former Memphis great Darrell Henderson and current Memphis senior O'Bryan Goodson played at South Panola.

"Darrell Henderson played at my High School. It just really shows how they develop players for the pros."
