Taylor talks Memphis visit

2* Running back Timothy Taylor knows the Memphis program well. He's a local kid who plays at Memphis East.

He knows some of the Memphis Tigers players and he got to visit them this weekend on his official visit.

Taylor's player host was return specialist Tony Pollard.

Taylor and Pollard have seen each other before. They played against each other in high school football and ran against each other in track.

Who won when they ran against each other in track?

"I did," Taylor said.

Taylor got along great with Pollard and called him, "A good guy."

His favorite part of the visit?

"Just being around the coaches and building a bond with them."

Taylor thinks next year could be a special year for the Tigers

"I think next year we can make big things happen."

The Tigers fans are feeling the same way.
