Former Tiger great Isaac Bruce's single season receiving yards mark was broken last week by Anthony Miller. And now his single season receptions mark will most likely fall this week...also to Miller.

But that doesn't bother Bruce one little bit. He spoke about Anthony Miller with fondness (read that article here).

Furthermore, when the Tigers are on TV, the Tigers most famous former wide receiver (with apologies to Earnest Gray) knows and he watches.

“I can honestly say I rush home to watch my Tigers play,” he admits in his extended interview with TigerSportsReport. “I know the opponent every week and I know what time the game is on. I love how the program is excelling. We're very competitive against the teams we're playing. I am excited for the future of the Memphis football program.”

When Coach Mike Norvell first took charge, Bruce said he spoke to Norvell. He thinks Norvell is a good coach with a great offensive mind.

“Coach Norvell has the ability to go out and get future NFL players,” Bruce explained.

“He's getting commitments from guys who can play on the next level. It's really going to change the program and I'm excited to see where he takes us.”

The Tigers have been implementing new uniforms/helmets the past few years. We would have been remiss not to ask Bruce if he likes them and does he have a favorite?

His reply might (or might not) surprise you.
