Memphis gets Carter

New Memphis staff Mike Norvell and Co. have done something that has never been done before (in the Rivals.com era).

They have received commitments from three 4* recruits in the same class.

The latest is T.J. Carter. Carter, 5-foot-11 175 lbs., is a cornerback from Stratford high in Nashville. Carter made his announcement known a local Nashville radio station.

Carter chose Memphis over Ole Miss, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

Rivals.com Recruiting Analyst Woody Wommack gave his thoughts on Carter, "Carter is a tenacious cornerback prospect who is also an accomplished running back and wide receiver. We project him at corner because of his ability to cover even the quickest of wide receivers. Kentucky, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and several others are in the mix for Carter."

Memphis' best recruiting class ever just got tremendously better.
