Memphis picks up a massive commitment from 4-star transfer linebacker from Elijah Herring.
Herring led Tennessee with 79 tackles last season. He was recruited by Memphis out of high school but committed to Tennessee. He was recruited by Jordan Hankins.
With Geoffrey Cantin-Arku getting selected in the 1st round of the CFL draft, Herring will no doubt slide right in to the starting spot for Memphis at linebacker.
Rivals currently ranks him as the 16th best transfer in the 2024 Rivals Transfer rankings.
Memphis currently ranks 14th in the 2024 Rivals Team Transfer rankings.
