Levar Gumms talks Memphis offer

The Memphis Tigers have offered Marrero (LA) Wide Receiver Levar Gumms.

Gumms, 6-foot-1 183 lbs., was excited about the Tigers offer.

"This my first big offer. Memphis is a awesome program . I've watched them play on TV a couple times and I love their style."

He also spoke highly about Memphis offensive coordinator Darrell Dickey, "Coach Dickey is an awesome coach and he looks like he loves the players."

He says he wants to work on explosion off the line and perfecting his route running. He doesn't have a hard time table for a commitment but said it will most likely happen after the season.

Gumms doesn't list a any favorites but said Memphis is one he will keep in touch with.
