The Memphis Tigers got good news today when 3-star quarterback Carson Black made his commitment known via Twitter

Black, 6-foot-1 184 lbs., chose Memphis over Cincinnati, Louisville, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech.

He visited Memphis back in May and enjoyed his time. His favorite part was meeting the Tiger coaching staff.

"We are getting alone really well. I think they are a great coaching staff and look forward to talking to them more," Black told TigerSportsReport back in May.

This weekend he is on his official visit to Memphis and that seemed to be what it took to gain his commitment.
