Jeremy Tate commits to Memphis
Memphis picked up their 3rd commitment of the 2018 class when New Hope (MS) Wide Receiver Jeremy Tate made his commitment known via twitter.
Tate, 6-foot-4 200 lbs., said Memphis was the right fit for him.
"It's a great fit for me. I like the staff and the offensive scheme."
Coach Lanning is his main recruiter and Tate said he has a great relationship with him.
He wanted to tell Memphis fans that they are not only getting a great receiver but a great person for the program.
He's working on his speed this off season as well as being more of a leader on and off the field.
Last year he had 46 catches for 727 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
Tate hasn't decided if he'll sign during the early signing period or if he will wait till February. That's something he's still thinking about.
